Description
Calcium 44 LG is a liquid calcium chelate formulation designed to prevent the many physiopathologies resulting from low calcium availability. It is particularly suitable against bitter pits of pome fruit, russeting in some varieties of nectarines, and the occurrence of fruit storage rot. On cherry trees it prevents fruit splitting, on grapevines it prevents rachis desiccation, in tomatoes it reduces the incidence of apical rot, on endive and escarole lettuces it eliminates browning and marginal necrosis of leaves, and it is also very effective against apical desiccation of watermelon, against physiological melon desiccation, in apical desiccation, and against rot in peppers and eggplant. It prevents black heart and splitting in celery and fennel. On strawberries it improves fruit coloration by preventing bleaching and increases resistance to handling. In flowering plants it improves color characteristics by intensifying the color. Humic and fulvic acids in the formulation improve the plant’s ability to absorb them. In soil it remains available for a long time without reacting with phosphates that would make it unusable.
