Description
SOMBRERO liquid is an effective shading product for applying a uniform and temporary shielding layer on greenhouses. Sombrero protects crops from excessive heat and sunlight and can be applied at different dilutions. Sombrero boasts good wear resistance (up to 3-4 months).
The shading layer wears off gradually, which means that the shading effect is slowly reduced and no cleaning product needs to be used. If a more intense and longer-lasting shading effect is needed, a second layer can be applied to the previous one.
Sombrero is widely used in the hottest areas of the world, on all types of greenhouses housing crops of horticultural or ornamental species. In spring and summer, light and temperature increases, so to achieve quality production, crops must be protected from excessive levels of heat and light. Shading achieved with liquid Sombrero protects plants from stress, preventing fruit scorch and production losses.
Sombrero liquid does not clog or damage equipment because it is premixed. It is easier to handle than shading powders. It also provides a more uniform shielding layer.

EMPLOYMENT
Sombrero liquid should be diluted with clean water. The shading rate depends on the dilution ratio and the number of buckets per hectare. The product should be applied during the dry season, allowing it to dry thoroughly. A simple powered sprayer can be used. Once diluted, Sombrero can be applied to plastic film, polycarbonate, acrylic material and glass.
Wear resistance depends on the dilution factor, the intensity of UV radiation and the amount of rain.
CLIMATIC CONDITIONS
Apply liquid Sombrero only when fast-drying conditions occur so as to ensure that the coating is completely dry before sunset. Rainfall during the same day of application can damage the coating. Liquid Sombrero should only be applied at temperatures above 10°C.
